Difficult to manuver

When I tried to understand how to put money on an inmate's account in Maricopa County Jail, Phoenix, AZ, links transferred me three times. Three totally different apps or websites for tablet and phone and commissary 3 times the work I am 69 years old, I can't understand why one app or web doesn't do all three? I couldn't even answer a text I could only read. I couldn't remember what app took me to what service was I in the pay for phone app or tablet app or commissary app creating pass words for three functions constantly how totally stupid and the email to contact customer service doesn't work nor does it download information for a refund I went around and around and around trying to remember what web what app took my money to call or put money on a tablet or on the commissary It is so expensive I am on a fixed income a grandma with cancer and my granddaughter has no one but me whatsoever. This jail won't feed inmates on weekends at all whatsoever. Peanut butter on bread, so inhumane perhaps this rich company price gouging friends and family of inmates needs to donate some money to this jail system, so they can feed the inmates on weekends.

To send money

I have tried for 2 days to add money for my loved one and no one will ever help me why? avoid this company because they will not help you and do not care about how about you your money or your loved ones or your time that you waste trying to deal with them they look for any excuse to get off the phone when I'm trying to put money on my loved ones of account so they can call me but I can get no help from these people and yeah I'm pissed going to contact the local the governor Greg Abbott and whoever else I need to talk to about this ***

User's recommendation: Call your congressman your Governor those who are in charge of your community supervision your sheriff those people like that and see if they get some help because these people don't care.

A refund from a phone acct set up at Galveston Co. Jail. I have been trying to resolve this since January. I have called TOO MANY times to count. I think Connect Networks strategy is to delay or make difficult hoping the customer will just give up. Not me, I want my $50 back.

I added money to wrong phone number on my acct I did not mean to this will be the first time that I actually contact yall I really dont know what to say for 100 words but I really need need need need Need Need Need need need to have yall put the $12 on my 615-351-**** number not the 629 num. On messages i loged in to send a message and it said i couldnt log in unless i gave access to my videos and pictures and i gave access and all my messages went away the only thing i can see is the titles of my old messages when i send a message it says my message was successfully sent but after i send it it goes away thank you phyllis mobley

I don't where I contacted a CSR but the first CSR had English as a second language and because of the language barrier as well as her continuing to talk rapidly, although I asked her a minimum of three times to please speak slower she continued. I finally gave up ad called again. This time the CSR also had English as a second language and when I asked exactly how to get to Connect Network portal he hung up on me. BINGO!!! The third call was with a CSR whose English was her second language; however, she was very proficient in speaking English and was able to give me a phone number I can call to put money into my inmate's trust fund.

User's recommendation: Be sure you have Spanish as your primary language.

I funded 4 phone numbers on the Connect Network Advance Phone account. When I funded the phone numbers, I was assured that if there was money left after my family member was released, I would get a refund. Well today my family member was released and I called for a refund, and got the run around. I had $90 coming back to me, so not a small amount. They told me I would need to send documentation of owning all 4 phone numbers in order to get a refund. Of course that was never communicated to me to start or I would not over put extra money in the accounts, especially other peoples accounts. This system is a for PROFIT system that is very expensive for phone calls and any commissary items. It makes money off of lonely prisoners who are not allowed to talk to or see anyone without paying exorbitant fees. Because of corona virus, prisoners are only allowed 5 hours total out of their cells each week for showers, exercise and phone calls and commissary accounts. When my family member attempted to call me, the system would not respond to the prompts on my recently purchased iPhone. Thus, with my family member on the other end, the system would disconnect, continually. When I called customer service, they told me to call my cellphone provider about their failing system. It is so sad that the corrections system as to prey on prisoners with no rights who are lonely and helpless to make money. And this particular system. Connect Network, a company from GTL, is all about profits and could not care less about the people it serves. Really disgusting.

User's recommendation: There is no other alternative except this network. Do not put any automatic payments in and fund as you go. It is worth the extra hassle, because it the phone system may not work and you will not be able to get any refund upon release from the jail.

First, there are two companies going by GTL, both deny the existence of the other. Websites look similar. This review is for ConnectNetwork-GTL. WEB APP has confusing pages with vague descriptions (deceptive??). PHONE-I entered money on three different places that were for phone deposits. I just wanted to make sure there was phone money available for my son. service fee for each of the 3 sections. MESSAGING-On the left side of the page, It says messaging, "send letters without pages or stamps" but does not state the fee. On the right side it says messaging, buy 40 letters for 10.00. I bought those but I cannot tell if it is for me to send letters to the inmate or for him to send letters to me. Every single time i attempt to type and submit a letter, it takes 3 or 4 times. I have learned to copy it before i submit it so i don't have to recreate it. More "Services" are PIN DEBIT, TRUST FUND, DEBIT LINK are all places you can pay. Each section has its own service fee! If you can figure it out. THIS whole business model reeks of exploitation without any attempt at customer service. Crystal Olsen

Yes there are 2 GTL and each deny the other!! I've been told one of the two offer unlimited calls for a much lower rate.

Can anyone verify they have done this?

The prison calls add up fast! Thanks.
